Extended Family was founded with one purpose—to provide professional and compassionate care that feels like family, because it’s given from the heart.

 

The journey began after a deeply personal and painful experience. Lyn’s mother, Chris Middleton, was only 56 when she began facing health challenges that made everyday tasks more difficult. Lyn’s Mother didn’t need a nurse—just someone kind and dependable to check in, lend a helping hand, and provide a sense of companionship and safety.

 

While the family was trying to secure support, Chris tragically passed away due to a lack of supervision during a critical moment.  The loss of Chris revealed a gap in care and inspired a lifelong mission.

 

Lyn and Bianca knew things had to change. Families need more than just help—they need care they can count on. Seniors deserve to grow older with dignity, surrounded by people who truly see and value them. Extended Family delivers exactly that: trusted, compassionate care that treats every client like one of our own.

 

Today, we provide non-medical care to seniors and individuals who want to stay at home, live independently, and feel supported every step of the way. Our Companion Care Professionals are chosen not just for their qualifications, but for their hearts.
